Our Story
ERM Legal Solutions began as a series of conversations between CTO Jeanné Naysmith and CRO Larry Bridgesmith more than ten years ago. Larry had been practicing law for almost 30 years and Jeanné had been working in quality management technology applications and developing software solutions for a similar period of time. They had been college roommates and their careers had taken separate paths until they converged in those conversations. When Larry understood the power of project management to bring efficiency, price predictability and on time delivery into professional services, the proverbial light bulb went off. Following the global recession of 2008, as lawyers began to understand their clients were serious about efficiency and predictable pricing, ERM was born when Jeanné brought his long time productivity applications software executive colleague Jerry Walters into the dialog. ERM was established in 2010 and after almost two years of market research and focus groups, the technology Jeanné had developed for other industries began to be repurposed for the legal sector. ERM provides a tool intended to help lawyers master the techniques of project management in their unique professional environment: a solution built for lawyers by lawyers.
